“I’m going to take a fine this year, why not?” he claimed during an event in London. “I’m going to protest during the flag. That’s what I’m going to say now.”
The NFL’s policy states that teams would be penalized if their players and personnel were on the sector and did not “show respect for the flag.” groups may enforce their own penalties for players who don’t follow the policy.
It adds that league personnel can face “appropriate discipline” from Commissioner Roger Goodell for not respecting the flag:

The new policy came once intense scrutiny from President Donald Trump moreover in addition to the public backlash to players kneeling throughout the anthem.
