Tucker Carlson booked activist journalist Jorge Ramos on his show Monday night to discuss the debate surrounding President Trump’s policies on immigration and border security.

As expected, the discussion became heated with the two sparring over sanctuary cities, the president’s attitudes towards immigrants, and Ramos’ new book “Stranger.”

The two spent the first few minutes constantly interupteing each other, talking about how because of Ramos’ dual citizenship he can vote in both country’s elections. Carlson took is with this because of the oath Americans take when becoming citizens and subsequently voting.

Carlson objected to those “telling Americans like me how we should run our government when you clearly have not renounced your loyalty to a foreign government.”

Ramos called later Carlson “state media,” accusing him of simply wanting to carry water for President Trump‘s agenda of “criminalizing” immigrants in America.
